Ken Townend
Ken Townend Barnecutts Pasties, Subway and Pie n Peas outlets would be good there.
Carol Beavis
Carol Beavis Starbucks
would be great! We don't need any more pie and pasty shops Ken Townend.
We also don't need any more petrol stations...considering that there
are 4 between Carwin and St Erth!
Stephen Cornish
Stephen Cornish Sadly if this gets go ahead, it'll probably kill the local petrol stations.
Ken Townend
Ken Townend Up to 7pLtr higher than PZ, where I have to go once a week. So I fill up there.
Carol Beavis
Carol Beavis Nice to know you support local businesses!
Ken Townend
Ken Townend Cost of living more important to pensioners. Common sense really.
Rick Cornwall
Rick Cornwall Practical
reality. If it's significantly cheaper elsewhere even after the cost
of driving there it's a worthwhile saving. This is Cornwall. Most of
us aren't made of money.
Ken Townend
Ken Townend Carol.
Cannot beat a Barnecutts. Except home made. Local Filling stations all
at silly high prices. Don't believe in paying high prices to a coffee
shop who makes it for 20p and does not pay a fair rate of tax on the
millions they make. A small Halfords would be good. ,
Peter F Clemo
Peter F Clemo Are
you mad Starbucks will kill any local trade and come and go without a
care in the world for anyone and their jobs.Every multi national is the
same
Stephen Cornish
Stephen Cornish Does hayle need a Starbucks? I don't think so.
Gill Baron
Gill Baron Hoping for some independent shops. But not coffee or pasty shops. A lighting shop, shoe shop, paint/DIY etc..
Ken Townend
Ken Townend .?
Lighting shop tried in two locations, failed to make a living and
closed. Shoe shop on Penpol, failed. Paint and DIY across the road.
Jewsons. Food shops the only thing surviving at the moment.
David Clemo
David Clemo In our town we have three kinds of shops. Coffee, phone and charity. All the retailers are out of town now
Ken Townend
Ken Townend Could move to Hayle, plenty of new houses laying empty.
David Clemo
David Clemo I saw. Was there the last two weeks
Ritchard Jones
Ritchard Jones NO parking!!!!!
Stephen Cornish
Stephen Cornish There's 23 parking spaces apparently for those shops.
Ritchard Jones
Ritchard Jones But no parking for the new offices in the foundry development!!
Stephen Cornish
Stephen Cornish Yup. True. I believe that's down to disagreements between certain parties.
Natasha Davies
Natasha Davies David
Clemo don't forget the estate agents, hairdressers and takeaways!!!
That's about all Hayle is filled with....who needs that many estate
agents down at copperhpuse end it's ridiculous
Micky Coote
Micky Coote OBVIOUSLY HAYLE DOES OR THEY WOULDN'T BE THERE
David Clemo
David Clemo All towns are the same except the historic market towns like Stamford, York, etc
Ken Townend
Ken Townend Hayle
has a good variety of shopping, compared to other small towns. 40+
empty shops in PZ at moment and growing. We just seem to be eager to
bring in housing developers, to fill the green fields with concrete.
With no increase in the required infrastructure.. Really makes my blood
boil.
