A section of the A30 was closed in one direction following an collision in Cornwall this morning.

The Hayle bypass shut eastbound after single vehicle a collision.

The stretch affected was from the A3047 Nut Lane (St Erth roundabout) and the B3301 Carwin Rise (Loggans Moor roundabout).

The road closed around 10:30am and traffic is building.

Inrix reported that the A30 reopened at 10.50am.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said: "A single male occupant is taking himself to hospital to get checked as a precaution.

"Road clear 10.45am."
