Cornwall Bus Preservation Group

Cornwall Bus Preservation Group (CBPG) has been formed by a couple of bus and coach enthusiasts who are involved in maintaining, restoring and preserving a number of buses which saw operational service in Cornwall that have been bought, donated or even loaned to members of the group.

The aim of the CBPG

1) Ensure that the buses already owned by individual members are maintained in a good condition, kept roadworthy and therefore able to attend road runs, bus rally’s and other nominated functions held through out the year.

2) Ensure that any other buses or even coaches which have seen active service in
Cornwall which may be acquired by the group are spared from the cutting torch and the crusher at the local scrap-yard.

3) Encourage other similarly minded bus and coach enthusiasts who would like to get involved with bus preservation which is part of Cornwall’s heritage, to enquire about and then join the CBPG.

4) Publish a regular News Letter for ‘friends’ (members of the group) giving updates on the vehicles, restoration and other work done, fund raising, new ‘friends’ and trips undertaken since the last information sheet. Also included will be details of forthcoming events, rally’s, working days and meetings.

WE REQUIRE LARGE SECURE STORAGE FOR SEVERAL VEHICLES with good access from the road.

Become a 'friend' for £15 per year.
