Carnhell Green Charity Vintage Rally will be held from 9am this Saturday, August 12, at fields close to Carnhell Green. Jenny Agutter will perform the official opening at 11am. This popular rally has something for everyone: steam engines, tractors, cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, a dog show and other attractions. Hayle & District Lions' Fun Day will be held at Hayle Recreation Ground this Sunday, August 13. Everything is in place to ensure a great day. The day will commence at 11am, with the official opening at noon. This year there will be a stage with local talent entertaining the visitors. A children's fancy dress competition will be held by the stage at 1pm; come along with your child and have some fun. There will be two classes: for under-fives and children aged five to 10, with a prize for each winner kindly donated by Blewett's of Hayle. There will also be a fun dog show with rosettes for the winners, so bring your dog along for even more fun. Start: 11:00
