HAYLE PENWITH U3A:

Hayle U3A has the following programme this week.  Today, Thursday September 8, at 10am there is Games then at 12.30pm for 1pm the U3A luncheon takes place at Trevaskis farm.  On Tuesday September 13 at 10am there is Art then at 2pm the Film club meets.  All sessions except Writing are held in the Philip Smith annexe to the Hayle Day Care Centre.  The Writing is held in Hayle Library.

DONATE IT DAY:

Hayle friends of Cornwall Hospice South West are holding a Donate It day at Hayle Day Centre on Friday September 9 from 10.30am to 2.30pm.  Help keep the shops stocked and support Little Harbour the only children's hospice in Cornwall.  Please donate good condition items: clothes, toys, household, bric-a-brac and electrical.

ANGARRACK COFFEE MORNING:
Angarrack's next fortnightly coffee morning takes place this Friday, September 9, between 10am and noon at Angarrack Community Centre. All welcome.

HAYLE FILM CLUB:

Eddie the Eagle. September 10 at 7.30pm

A post-Rio reminder of the original amateur spirit of the Olympics, and the genuine achievement behind the jokey headlines of the time. Taron Egerton and Hugh Jackman star as the hero and his trainer, variously supported and nearly thwarted by Jim Broadbent, Christopher Walken and Tim McInnerny.

As ever, at the Passmore Edwards Institute, house lights down at 7.30pm and home-baked refreshments after. Tickets at £5/£4 for members, reserve on 01736 752319, or book online at www.haylefilmclub.org.uk

CONCERT:

St Buryan Male Voice Choir are "Singing for You" at St Elwyn's church on Sunday September 11 at 7.30pm.  Entrance is £6.  There will be a raffle and refreshments.  The church is wheelchair friendly.

ST.JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, HAYLE:

St Joseph's Church in Hayle is part of the Roman Catholic Parish of the Holy Family. At the 6.30pm Mass on Saturday the readings from Wisdom - Philemon and gospel by Luke.

There will be Mass on Friday September 9 at 10am.

Hayle Walk for Cornish Hospice Care is on Sunday September 11.  Father Philip will be doing this walk if you wish to sponsor him.
