This pothole is so large that I thought I had collided with something - it sounded like hitting a big rock. I was travelling at low speed slowing due to oncoming traffic which was passing parked cars on the approach to the crossroads. This is sure to damage vehicle suspension and likely to cause people to drive erratically to avoid the hazard if they are aware of it in time. Likely to be more hazardous given the proximity to the junction.
