Up and coming fundraising events: There will be a 60’s 70’s and 80’s theme disco at the bottom of the Pub car park, with a BBQ on Saturday 30th of August. The disco is free so come along and have a dance or two. Drinks will be available all night from the Pub. We haven’t had much of a summer yet, but lets have a party anyway. Thanks to every one who came along to the Treasure hunt. A good time was had by all. There is now an Angarrack village website. Up and coming fundraising events: Due to bad weather at the end of last month the treasure hunt will now be on the 26th of July. The start and finish will still be in the pub car park, where there will be a BBQ. The BBQ and free disco/dance will be held at the bottom of the pub car park at the end of August. Further details to follow. There is now an Angarrack village website. Up and coming fundraising events: There will be a treasure hunt around the village for all to take part in, on the 27th of June. The start and finish will be in the pub car park, where there will be a BBQ. There will be a BBQ and free disco/dance held at the bottom of the pub car park at the end of July. Further details to follow. We hope to hold another BBQ in August. Again more details soon. The Angarrack Lights committee thank you all for your continued support. Your help and donations are greatly appreciated.

Up and coming fundraising events: The annual Duck Race is going to be held on Saturday 24th of May. There will be a BBQ and other stalls, and of course the duck race. It will all start about 4:30. There will be a fund raiser on or around the 27th of June. Further details to follow. We hope to hold a summer disco/dance at the end of July. Again more details soon. The Angarrack Lights committee thank you all for your continued support. Your help and donations are greatly appreciated.

Lights display among best | Western Morning News | December 14, 2000

THERE may only be 120 homes in the tiny village of Angarrack , near Hayle, but they certainly know how to put on a Christmas lights display to compete with the best of them.

On Saturday Sid Perry, one of the village¹s oldest residents, flicked the switch which transformed the small group of houses into a sea of colour with hundred and hundreds of lanterns and three large Christmas trees.

It is a real village effort with the decorations made by the men and the fundraising done by other members of the Christmas lights committee.  read more »

Angarrack Methodists | The Cornishman | October 2, 2008

Angarrack Methodist Church held their Harvest Festival on September 28 and 29 in their newly refurbished Chapel.

The services on Sunday were much enjoyed.  Mrs Irene Tannere was the preacher in the morning; she was accompanied by the group "New Life" from St Ives, and the organist was Mr G Pooley.

The evening service was conducted by Pastor Graham Kitts.  Mrs Kitts read a passage from the Bible.  Mrs Thomas and Mrs Bawden sang a duet, and Mr Barrie Bawden sang a solo.  The organist was Mr Edward Tanner.

Beetles and Pasties

A Beetle Drive and Pasty Supper is being held at Angarrack Community Centre Friday 17 October at 7:30pm. Admission is £2 which includes a pasty.
