Hayle Film Club - our Next Screening will be a matinee on Saturday, 9 November, at 2.30pm, in honour of Remembrance Day. upstairs in the Passmore Edwards Institute, Hayle Terrace.

Ken Loach's excellent documentary "The Spirit of '45" (rated U, for a general audience) thrusts viewers back in time to the immediate post-war years, when Britain's workforce came together to rebuild the country and form a united front under the Labour movement.

The Angarrack lights will be switched on for 2013 at 7pm on Saturday November 30.  The switch on event will be starting at 6pm in the car park of the Angarrack Inn. More details on the event will be posted here as we have them...

IMPORTANT NOTE: Father Christmas will not be visiting Angarrack for Switch on this year he will be coming on his traditional Angarrack day - 1st Saturday in December
