Centre opens 30th August

The centre is nearly ready to open, we have been working with Falmouth design company 20/20 and local historians to create a centre that gives residents and visitors a chance to learn about Hayle’s fascinating history.

Going against the trend and with two fingers up to the recession, Hayle continues to have new shops opening .At the moment there are no empty premises the length of the high street..This shows the confidence in Hayle that people are prepared to invest despite a national down turn in the economy.

Tents

Well done to the fire fighters of Camborne who showed great initiative by reclaiming some of the tents left behind at the Glastonbury Festival ( what kind of disposable society have we become) cleaned them and sold them raising finds for the Firefighters Benevolent Fund. Brilliant!! I bought a small tent for my grandson and hopefully everyone contributed a little more that the stated price and raised lot of money.  read more »
