Our Christmas Lights have all been PAT tested.   If you are hosting a light please plug it into a timer.   We will have a test run tomorrow, Friday, you can report any issues to secretary@angarrack.info

Thank you Hugh Eddy for today. We still have few more jobs to finish but, hopefully, everything will be ready for weekend | 2025

Hosts of light frames - 2025/2026

Angarrack Christmas Lights have delivered timers to hosts of frames who power lights. Please let us know if you have not received one.

The timers must be plugged in and powered immediately to maintain the time/programme that has been set. Please DO NOT plug your light into the timer.

A volunteer will PAT Test the light on 3rd December so please leave the frame unplugged and the plug outside, somewhere dry.

We hope to have all the lights up and working by Friday 5th December for a test switch on so please plug your lights into the timers on Friday 5th December.

The last night that the lights will be on is Sunday 5th January. Thank you to everyone who helped make it possible

The last night that the lights will be on is Sunday 5th January.   Thank you to everyone who helped make it possible; the many people who volunteered to help with collections, the hard-working Angarrack repair team, those who put up the lights and those now preparing to turn out for the hard job of taking them down again!   Thank you also to all those that hosted lights or put on their own displays. You all brought a lot of enjoyment to a lot of people.

We will begin taking the lights down next week.   Please unplug/turn off your lights on Monday but do not disconnect or unwire any lights, this will be done by our volunteers.   We will collect the timers and RCDs from you next weekend.

Ways to help Angarrack Christmas Lights 2023

The next 3 months are our busiest time of the year as we get ready to display our lights.  Visitors often say how wonderful it is to see such community spirit and want to know what goes in to putting the lights up, maintaining, repairing etc so for the next few weeks I will post some of the messages that are sent out to volunteers and photos of what is happening.

Here is a snip from the September newsletter we send out to the village.
