BIN NEWS
Bin crews may not arrive at their usual times over the coming weeks, but don't worry, they'll get to you as soon as they can.
Please put rubbish & recycling out by 7am for collection by 6pm. Report any missed collections the next day here: https://secure.cornwall.gov.uk/selfservice/citizenportal/form.aspx?form=...
The household waste and recycling centres are closed and bulky collections have been suspended.
Until these services start again please keep hold of any waste or recycling that can't be put out for kerbside collection.
·
Please DON'T put small electrical appliances and batteries in black sacks or bins.
Unwanted electrical appliances can be recycled, but not on the kerbside collections. Please wait until the household waste and recycling centres reopen.
If anyone in your home has coronavirus symptoms, please follow
guidance.
Tissues and disposable cleaning cloths should be put in a bag, then double bagged and tied securely. This should be put aside for at least 72 hours before being placed out for collection.
Our crews are doing a brilliant job collecting our rubbish and recycling.
You can help them by not putting out extra items for collection - please just put out your normal household rubbish and recycling.
Thank you all for helping! #TeamCornwall
