Falmouth now has ten cases of coronavirus showing on the latest 'cluster' map with other parts of Cornwall also showing a rise.
It should be remembered that the map showing on the government website today runs a few days behind, meaning the cases represented on it today were actually recorded in the seven days leading up to Friday last week (October 9).
The map shows a shows a rise in both the number of 'clusters' and also the overall total number of cases.
In indicates that during those dates 131 cases were recorded, in 27 cluster areas.
It includes seven in Falmouth West & South, and three in Falmouth North, making a total of ten for the town.
Penryn has a further four, while 'The Lizard' - which actually includes the wider Lizard Peninsula of Mullion, The Lizard, St Keverne and the Meneage villages - still shows nine cases.
There has also been a rise in cases in the Crowan, Wendron & Stithians area to six, with other rises in parts of Camborne and Redruth.
The map shows positive cases by 'Middle Super Output Area' - the name the government gives to the break-up of larger towns and groups of neighbouring towns and villages, with groupings covering a greater area than others.
The minimum population each area is 5,000 and the average is 7,200.
The colours represent the Middle Layer Super Output Area (MSOA) rate. The seven day rates are expressed per 100,000 population and are calculated by dividing the seven day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.
