250905 - POSTPONED: Proposed resurfacing of Steamers Hill/Hatch's Hill that was due to happen end of July beginning of August

Resurfacing work in Angarrack, Hayle

I was wondering when the proposed resurfacing of Steamers Hill/Hatch's Hill that was due to happen end of July beginning of August is now going to be completed.

The extra volume of traffic during August has obviously made the surface considerably worse and subsequent extreme rainfall has compounded the damage

I look forward to hearing from you

Thank you for your enquiry regarding the resurfacing scheme previously planned for Angarrack, Hayle

Unfortunately, due to current budget constraints and the need to prioritise essential works across the area, we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone this scheme.   We understand this may be disappointing and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please be assured that the location remains on our list for future consideration, and we will continue to monitor its condition.   Should funding become available, we will aim to revisit the scheme as part of our ongoing maintenance programme.

Kind Regards
