120403 | Hayle Film Club gets deep this week | This is Cornwall
Spotted in The Cornishman Thursday 26th April 2012
HAYLE Film Club is screening Terence Davies's film The Deep Blue Sea (12a, pictured) at the Passmore Edwards Institute on Saturday at 7.45pm.
There will be refreshments available afterwards and time for socialising and chat about the film.
?
This is the second screening by Hayle Film Club. The first was Woody Allen's Midnight In Paris which achieved excellent ticket sales and attendance. The club is a newly formed not-for-profit group, dedicated to the provision of cinema in Hayle so that film-lovers can meet on a monthly basis to watch a wide range of films (appealing to all ages and tastes) and enjoy chatting about them. Membership is open to all and can involve as little as being included on a mailing list for news about upcoming film screenings. The club will be taking a table at the Queen's Jubilee celebrations in Hayle on King George V Memorial Walk on Sunday June 3 to advertise its activities and provide details of membership but in the meantime further details can also be found at www.haylefilmclub.org.uk and on Facebook or by e-mail to enquiries@haylefilmclub.org.uk. Tickets are £4 on the door or from Biggleston's in Hayle.
