MP's meeting with Hong Kong businessmen could influence the outcome of Cornwall's new archive bid

The MP for Camborne, Redruth and Hayle met an influential group of Hong Kong businessmen. George Eustice had a meeting with Habile Investments Ltd, including their CEO Horace Yeo, at the Houses of Parliament.

The company owns the derelict brewery site in Redruth, which is an area which will have an important role in the future development of the town. The site is the preferred location for a new archive and records centre for Cornwall.

The Kresen Kernow project is currently waiting for the outcome of a funding bid from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
