At 9.35pm on Sunday 30 January 2022, police were notified of a road traffic collision on Loggans Road, Loggans, Hayle.
The collision involved a blue VW Golf and a silver Mercedes. The VW Golf was believed to have been travelling towards Hayle from the Connor Downs direction and the Mercedes travelling in the opposite direction. A passenger in the Mercedes sustained a serious injury and the driver of the VW Golf, a 20 year old local male, sustained multiple serious injuries in the collision.
Officers from the Alliance’s Roads Policing Team attended the scene and commenced an investigation with officers working to establish the cause of this collision.
