SHORT TAKES - lights display among best

THERE may only be 120 homes in the tiny village of Angarrack , near Hayle, but they certainly know how to put on a Christmas lights display to compete with the best of them.

On Saturday Sid Perry, one of the village¹s oldest residents, flicked the switch which transformed the small group of houses into a sea of colour with hundred and hundreds of lanterns and three large Christmas trees.

It is a real village effort with the decorations made by the men and the fundraising done by other members of the Christmas lights committee.
