The site is not covered by any landscape designation but is within the setting of AONB which lies 4km to the north. It should also be viewed as the landscape setting for Grade II listed railway viaduct. Consult HES.

In respect of Landscape and Visual Impact the site is not within a designated area, however the development will be seen in the context of the Grade II Listed rail viaduct at Angarrack. There will be a cumulative impact in regard to the existing development at Marsh Lane
