Meanwhile Cornwall Council is about to start work preparing its next
major “Local Plan” identifying strategic sites for developments over the
next 5-10 years.

At the same time there is still no sign of progress on County Hall’s
own major housing schemes, notably the 3,800-home Truro New Town project
and the redevelopment of Truro’s Pydar area.
