According to The Cornishman - can't find any details on Cornwall Council web site
People will be able to have their say on proposals to build a retail park on the outskirts of Hayle at a public meeting next week.
Walker Developments has plans to create a shopping hub including up to ten retail units at the current Hayle Rugby Club ground. No decisions will be made at the meeting next week but councillors are set to use it as a way to gauge public opinion before the planning application is considered and debated at a future meeting of the Strategic Planning Committee.
The public meeting is due to be held at 6pm on Thursday November 27 at Hayle Community School, High Lanes.
Cornwall Planning says:
I am not sure what the Cornishman has advised but the meeting is at Hayle Community School and starts at 6pm on Thursday 27th November.
There are no reports or decisions to be taken, Members of the Strategic Planning Committee simply listen to community concerns and support for the development. Members do not make any comments or discuss the application. The points raised at the meeting will feed into the committee report.
